I recently stumbled onto the phenomena we know as "DAVID LIEBE HART" Im not gonna try and explain. Please watch the video and the description below...

David Nkrumah Liebe Unger Hart (born 19 April 1955; also credited as D.L. Hart) is an outsider musician, street performer, sign painter, artist, puppeteer and actor. He is best known for his role as a puppeteer on The Junior Christian Science Bible Lesson Show, a Los Angeles-based public access program. He also frequently appears on the television shows The Del Talk Show, Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! as well as Tim and Eric Nite Live!. He has also appeared live with them on Tim and Eric's Awesome Tour. He can often be seen performing with his puppet "Doug the Dog" just outside the Hollywood Bowl after shows, as well as at the La Brea Tar Pits and Music Center of Los Angeles, and is known to many concert goers simply as the "puppet man". He made an appearance on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart in 2004 and again 2009, as well as on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in 2004. In 1990, he made an appearance in Golden Girls and in 1993 in Wings.[citation needed] He has also been known at times as David Hart, David Unger Hart, David King Liebe Hart and DL Hart.

He was divorced in 1994, and is vocal about his abstinence from smoking, alcohol, drugs and his dislike of rap music— but other parts of his life, especially since his arrival in Hollywood in 1976, are less clear. In interviews he revealed that he served as a cook in the Navy at one point in his life. He claims to have gotten his start in Hollywood touring with comedian Robin Williams and from making an appearance on The Gong Show in 1977.

He also appeared in a commentary on Tim And Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! Season One DVD. Throughout late April and early May 2008 he performed live as part of T&E's Awesome Tour 2008. He also appears in two episodes of a third season of Tim and Eric's Awesome Show, Great Job!.

In 2004, David Hart was featured in the documentary Public Access Hollywood.

He has featured independent actress Rachel Galvin in her early days as an actress on his show as a host

Well there is one show that I also have been telling myself that im gonna go check out and its THE DOOVER which takes place in hollywood california. Usually they have some dope dj's that I really look up to and would love to go see. These parties take place on Sunday afternoons during the warmer months of the year. A new mix from my brother from another mother Dj Pipo. It was just released today, and this is the stuff im about!!!

Here is what Pipo had to say about his mix:

I am constantly thinking of different themes to build a mix around. With the completion of each mix I typically fall into a 2-3 week funk where I try to think of a new theme for my next mix. Following the Folger's Blends mix I was struggling to think of a new theme. Then, one day while doing a random google search I stumbled onto the above logo. At first glance, I thought the logo was straight dope. However, the logo became even cooler when I learned that it was the creation of my favorite t-shirt designer, Derek from Manifest Worldwide. Given that the saying behind the logo comes from a ATCQ song, I was originally intending to do a Tribe mix. However, since Tribe mixes are a dime a dozen I went in the direction of creating a mix that attempts to capture the jazzy vibe that groups like Tribe and Digable Planets spawned. As the title suggests, all songs on this mix incorporate jazz based samples. The track selection includes music from jazzy groups and producers such as A Tribe Called Quest, Digable Planets, Diamond D, Black Moon, De La Soul, Madlib, No ID, Gang Starr, Showbiz & AG, Big L, The Roots, and Nas (I think that's all of them?). Half the fun of making this mix was doing the research to ensure that all songs maintained a jazz break. Some were no brainers, but other songs with jazz breaks were quite surprising. Jazz based samples have always given a special vibe to hip hop music so I hope this mix captures that magic. Thanks again to Derek at Manifest for inspiring the mix's theme. The "PEACE OUT" Skate/Bike Contest @ Washington Park

I thought Sundays "PEACE OUT" skate/bike competition at Washington Park was a good thing!! I thoroughly enjoyed myself and I think for the most part everyone had a "GREAT" time.

There were a few things in which I believe will most likely be ironed out by the next time this contest series rolls around again.

I thought that everyone who was involved with the organizing of the event did a really good job. It was a step up from the first event put together by Steve Harrison. This time Steve Harrison (the main organizer) of the event teamed up with "PEACE OUT" skateshop located here in Alamogordo New Mexico. I also noticed PEPSI Bottling Corporation (forgive me if I spelt it wrong) and a few others had volunteered their time for this event.

This event also brought in many other participents from around the New Mexico/Texas areas. I even met someone who was down here for the weekend from Utah, so that was cool.

But there were prizes given away for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in each event. Basically if you were just in the area at the end of the contest you were walking away with some sort of prize just for being there. They also had hot dogs, hamburgers and refreshments available as well.

Some of the categories of events had lined up in the Skateboard category were: GAME OF SKATE, RAMP/RAIL and FLATLAND. I'm not really sure what different categories they had for the BIKE contest but im sure it was probably similar to the SKATE contest.

There was also a contest to see who could get kicked out of Washington Park the quickest/fastest and most frequent for either Skating TOO fast or getting in peoples way......

2 GREATS Have Left Us...

Within a month of each other, both Dj's AM and GRAND MASTER ROC RAIDA have left us.

I was first in shock when my sister texted me about DJ AM's death on August 28th, 2009. This was taken from Rolling Stone magazine on August 28th 2009:

DJ AM, born Adam Goldstein, has been found dead in his New York apartment, police sources tell TMZ. The 36-year-old DJ, mostly known for his work with Blink-182’s Travis Barker and handling the music at big-name celebrity hot-spots, last tweeted some Grandmaster Flash lyrics from “New York, New York” — “New york, new york. Big city of dreams, but everything in new york aint always what it seems” — on August 25th. Sources tell TMZ he hadn’t been heard from in several days, and police broke down the door of his apartment when a friend knocked and got no answer. His rep issued a statement that confirms his death and adds, “The circumstances surrounding his death are unclear. Out of respect for his family and loved ones, please respect their privacy at this time.”

And now another "GREAT" has passed. Dj Roc Raida formerly of the X-Ecutioners passed away on September 19th 2009. Here is a statement from MTV on Roc's death:

In another terrible loss for the hip-hop community, Grand Master Roc Raida (real name: Anthony Williams) of the X-Ecutioners passed away on Saturday due to complications from a mixed-martial-arts accident, according to a statement released by his family. Raida had a two-decade career, which skyrocketed in 1995 when he won the DMC World DJ Championship. He released seven solo albums along with several LPs with his famed crew, the X-Ecutioners. Over the last few years, Raida had been Busta Rhymes' live DJ, where his showmanship skills were a perfect marriage for Busta and Spliff Starr's energetic stage antics.

A statement released by Raida's family over the weekend reads: "Anthony Williams [professionally known] to the world as the Legendary Grand Master Roc Raida has passed away unexpectedly today, September 19, 2009. He is survived by his wife, three lovely daughters, mother and friends. Raida was recently in a mixed-martial-arts accident, something that he has been practicing for several years. Although he had undergone two surgeries with great success, was released to an inpatient physical therapy facility and was in great spirits the past few days, this morning he started to have complications and passed. The family asks for privacy at this time."

Busta Rhymes wrote a series of messages about Raida on his Twitter account.

"I am sorry to say that on this day at 2:05, Sept 19th we lost another incredible life ... DJ Roc Raida died today. My personal DJ is gone ..." Rhymes wrote. "I just wanna thank everyone for your love and support and your prayers ... We will never let your name die Roc ... We love u and will forever miss u ... RIP.

"I never met a more humble man in the industry," he continued. "So unbelievably talented and most importantly such beautiful spirit. I love you my brother. I will never let your name die DJ Roc Raida! We love you, we miss you and we'll never stop reppin' you!"

At press time, Busta's most recent tweets, published Monday morning, read: "I woke up this morning and realized how proud of this man's life I really am ... he can continue to smile down on us ... R.I.P. eternally, from your Flipmode Family."

Roc Raida's death really hit home. I was fortunate to open/play alongside him last year on September 20th 2008 in El Paso Texas. I had always looked up to him as one of the "ILLEST" on the 1's and 2's. My prayers and condolences go out to both DJ AM's and DJ ROC RAIDA's familys!!

Vol. 4 Coming ACHA!! A lil over a year ago I made "DIG DUG IT Vol. 3" and I haven't made a new DIG DUG IT mix since then. Another great album that just droped is "FOREIGN LEGION" and the new album "LEAVE IT ALL BEHIND". This album has got a great vibe and feel to it. Kinda like something to vibe out and relax to!

Finally available 1nce again is "BLESSINGS FROM J DILLA" I did this mix the week after James Yancey (AKA J DILLA) passing. He left this world much too soon. One of, if not the greatest producer ever to bless the boards. I wish i could have been in the presence of Jay Dee, whenever he was crafting some of the greatest musical gems.
